One of the sales gurus I follow has been pushing TikTok for branding and promotion for a while. I’ve been messing around with it on a personal account with some skepticism but I just got 1 video there to go viral. It currently has almost 85k views. That’s when I finally caved and thought I should make a business account, too.
Lots of small businesses and middle-aged-farts like me are starting to use TikTok – it’s not just teenagers dancing. And the potential reach is amazing right now because large companies haven’t caught on yet. If you’re a freelancer or own a small business, I’d recommend also starting an account and posting tips, technical knowledge or fun work or tech-related stories.
