The forum layout is a bit unfamiliar. It’s a lot cleaner than most forums but it also doesn’t feel like a classic online forum.
Would it be helpful to have some guided examples or prompts of what to do when you first enter the forum?
I agree, it can be a little overwhelming to see all the categories without knowing how to navigate the site.

Maybe, it’s hard to say without knowing what’s possible. I think a quick introduction or title on the top to tell users it’s a forum or community is helpful.
